Love is in the air...

Valentines Day? Who invented this holiday anyway? And why do we celebrate it? These are the questions I was asked this morning by Pearce my stepson. Honestly, I told him, I have no idea. But it must have been a woman.
Before Mikael left to take Pearce to school he told me my present was hidden in the house and I had to find it. Since I know my husband so well, I said okay and after he left proceeded to eat breakfast and clean up the kitchen. When he came home I heard the garage open then close and he entered in through the front door. Honey, he calls, did you look in the garage for your present. HA HA so I looked in the garage and there was a bouquet of red roses. The perfect gift. That's all I wanted and needed. Just a little token of love and appreciation.
We ended up spending the day together. We went to lunch with a group of his friends from high school that were in town. And that evening I made a nice dinner (stuffed pork chops, with twice baked potatoes, green beans, rolls and dessert bread pudding with a vanilla sauce) YUMMY. After Mikaila went to bed we watched Pirates of the Carribean and went to bed. Perfect ending to a perfect day.

That dinner sounds so good. Red roses, aren't they just great?

Roses are Great! Was the bread pudding for the Grand America Hotel, if so was it good?

Flowers are my favorite! That's so cute that you waited and he revealed the location. That made me smile.
